Several months ago I put my hands on an old 1000 FZR Genesis. The bike had been vandalized and the previous owner kept it in his garden for a couple years in the hope that he will eventually have time to repair it. Time never came and he sold me the bike for a couple hundred bucks.
Taking into account my lust for speed and the recent changes in law enforcement in France, I realized that putting together a race bike may not be such a good idea. I had seen a few cool pictures of what I learned later where called "streetfighters" and decided to build one of my own.

  • Carburetors
    The FZR is equiped with a ramp of 4 carburetors Mikuni model BDS37. The o-rings to rebuild these are quite hard to find so here are a few resources to help you

    For some reason nobody seems to import alloy flat bars to France. I have identified three companies manufacturing these and ordered mine from the U.K.
